back about the colour,i think i have the problem.your poster is:"berufen zum kampf..."its more green like the issue"deine zukunft".from"deine zukunft"you can see the tunic is grayer and the visor is more green.so i think my poster is a"deine zukunft" poster and not a"berufen zum kampf"poster.here you can see 4 difference issues from"deine zukunft"all on this have a grayer tunic.not so grey like the copies and not so green like your authentic "berufen zum kampf"poster.

                          Hi,

@ wolfslair44 : i still didn't get the reply from Eddy De Bruyne, but i got the reply from one of the last seven known veterans from the Wallonie (Fernand Kaisergruber) and he never knew of the poster, to the contrary of other items i spoke to him. I sent back an email to the De Bruyne friend to know if Eddy can check it...

                            Hi Vince,

Many thanks. When did Mr. Kaisergruber join? Problem is, the poster is likely only to have been displayed a brief period and in select locations. If Mr. Kaisergruber was at the front during that period, or stationed elsewhere, I wouldn't expect him to have seen it.

                              Hi,

he enlisted in 1942 for the Inf. Rgt 373, before the Legion was transfered to the Waffen-SS. He saw almost everything...

Regarding the Motorised Walloon poster, if its the one I think you are talking about with the orange background?

I was not convinced of that one when it was first shown, certain parts of the fonts used as well as the details of the artwork etc... just did not look period to me.

I have another image in my archive, in postcard format of the same recruitment poster although to me it looks like it could be period and may have been the inspiration for the poster to be done post-war! Same recruitment address although different fonts used.

I will post a comparison of both when I am home from work.
