Postcards design of Felix Albrecht

Might mention that his work has elements of water color. Some appear to be wholly in Water color.
I will mention that working in this technique is not for the faint hearted as it is harder(to me) than oils as it can all go terribly wrong at the very end if the drying process is disturbed.
You can paint over oils...not water colors.

Still no opinion on the one I posted? The heft is 100% original and an interesting anti-christian SS piece. Anyone seen the poster that went with it before?

Hi,

i can't help you on that one... The fact is that this book was heavily promoted by the SS at the time. And then the SS had to play "piano" on the anti-christian motto, as the german Church was opening more and more his mouth (Aktion T4 for example).
The booklet by Dieter Schwarz is also nice, not very rare but imo a nice addition in every SS collection.

Thank you. As someone who has been collecting and dealing primarily in period publications for many years I know that it's not that scarce. The poster however was the first of it's kind I came across and been offered so I was curious if any others resided in collections.

Minnesinger, did you checked the poster on Black Light ?

In my opinion it can be an original, the "interest" into making a fake for it is quite low... Also the original design with the bloody sword is available in full.

There were one poster with the same motif that lingered on militaria321 for ages. Maybe still there.
