SS Nickel Cap Eagle M1/40

I dont know if this is a cast copy or what. It looks like nickel but does have areas of green. Small looking head. Does look like it's been around a while. I appreciate any comments.

Maybe what you think is wear is detail lost by bad casting.

Spot on, it is exactly the same as the one on my Heinrich Hartmann Red piped visor, which has the matching repro skull as well.

At least my Heinrich Hartmann cap is real though
