I think this is a rare symbol of diplomacy, in any case you can move the discussion in the forum of the Waffen SS?
Thanks Bernhard for your answer/help

Don't think so, but let the experts tell us theire opinions.
Straßburger / When in doubt do without...
- Looking for : SS TK «Oberbayern» flatwire CT.
as for geunine or not, we need more opinions to chime in.
the paper RZM tags have been widely faked since the 80s which are just generally photocopies and have been pre-aged.
The one shown with the paper L RZM tag used to be mine, and it was a direct vet purchase ( I picked up 3 of 'em at the time along with 9 swords along with all kinds of other doo-dads) I still have the wooden box it was shipped home in.
(Wish I had the eagle, but Tony Barto made me an offer I couldn't refuse... I still miss him... )
IMO the one sold was not a diplomatic eagle, but an SS cape eagle as well.
Diplo hat eagles seem to have "bent" downward wings.
either way it was great eagle and a great price for the buyer!
