I just got this pic and thought it was strange that ss would be with the ranks of heer. did this happen a lot? this is my first ss photo and am quite excited to get it.

The two SS men look very similar and in the same type of pose, check out the same noses,smile.tilt of the hat,they look like twins..Cool pic.

I was looking at the cap of the nearest one and the piping round the top ... looks like a branch piped schirmmutze for an engineer

I too believe that they are taking some sort of training class.

You'r right too about the two SS NCO's, they do indeed look like twins!
