I would consider this item to be what is called, A"rendering", not a poster. It is a piece of artwork, but not made to survive the eliments of the outdoors, it would most likely be cut to size and put in a frame. It looks like the artist was not quite done with it, hence he/she didn't finish what was intended and not signed for that reason. What kind of material is it drawn on?

The helmet does not have a split pin. The artist wasnt looking at an actual person or pic

What do you mean by split pin?
What is the material that the sketch is done on? canvas, paper? Looks like paper. If it's paper, like it looks to be, is the paper fragile and easy to break/tear?

It is very difficult to help you, when you don't answer all the questions.

                            Hello ,
For all I know yours is an authentic sketch from a novice artist of the time
                            But
I wonder how one could really know when this artwork was actually created.
I have some paper from 1980 (sketch paper, etc,) which looks as old as somthing from the 1930's .
just saying that the look of age is in itself, not 100% enough to know.

The people who did stuff like this for propaganda like SS pk Cranner or Damsleth did sign their artwork.
I know a member here has an original Cranner work portrating ss legion Norwegen soldier. If original yours are unsigned and not that spitz artwork. I would not pay more then $100.
