                  I agree with my colleagues on this one... looks like an Army panzer officer board with an SS underlay added. The pip obviously looks like it's been there for many years --- pressed into the shoulder board top; however, the thickness of the waffenfarben to me appears that it was originally the underside of the board, that the black underlay and tongue have been since added, thus making the entire board much too thick.
