    A real crusher?

    Hello!

SS uniforms and headgear are not my collection area (go more for EK´s and steel pots), so I need your most welcome help to identify this crusher.
Sorry for the blurry pics, but that´s all I have at the moment. The visor cap is still on its way to me........

The visor itself is made from black leather, there will come no symbols (skull and eagle) with this offer (you can see, that there were some in former time). The interior is made from light brown silk or kind of light brown silk. The piping is in pink color, the cloth in a fieldgrey/green with a black band.

Perhaps you can say good or bad only from this bad pics.

    Many thanks in advance

    Gerd

      Gerd,

Based on those pics, that hat screams Jahnke. . .

        Hi, Gene!

Thanks for your opinion on this hat! Like I wrote it before: Not my collection area (looks like it never will be ).

        Cheers

        Gerd

Hi Gerd, I would agree with Gene about the caps origins. The bright pink colour of waffenfarbe pink piping is typical of Janke. There is a Janke made example in Gary Wilkins headgear book just like the one you have pictured.
Hope you can show some more pics once you get the cap in your hands. I trust you have an option to return i?t
          Cheers, Ade.
