    Hohenstaufen cuftitle opinions please.

    Dear all,

I have had this one locked up for a very (x3) long time, not sure what to think of it, but also thinking that in case of a fake there would turn up more, which haven't until now.
Band itself is very supple, not straight but slightly curved when displayed, has a six strands silver/alu wire border, which shouldn't be a problem I think. Band has been applied /used which in itself doesn't mean anything in mather of being original or not in my opinion.
Would like to hear your opinions please, kill or cuddle?

    Thanks in advance!

    Seth.

I did, dr. Strangelove, thank you, found al sorts of interesting topics like this one

                http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...t=hohenstaufen

but apart from Bevo variants and a lot of no longer excisting links and / or deleted pictures I found no comparison. As this cufftitle has a lettertype and stitching comparable with later cufftitles as Nordland etc. I was wondering if this one ever excisted in this type of stitching, that's all.
If the weight of your answer is in the last words of your answer I thank you for your opinion.

That's because (if I remember correctly) these were only made in the BeVo machine-woven style.

There were two slightly different Hohenstaufen cuffbands: the regular one and the connected-S one. But regardless, both of these were machine-woven, that is in collector's terms, Bevo only.

                        There are three BeVo variations.
