Can you tell what the purpose of the zig zag stitching is on the cuff opening in post #11? Does anything show from the outside? I have never seen that before so I am just curious. Thanks,

        Richard

          Hi Richard
It is not zigzag on the other side, see here. The inside is double.

Another of lining inside, with inside pocket, and blue/grey canvas strap.

I think he meant the Zig Zag that appears in post 21.

                      I could entertain a doubt.

Hi. Ok.. The material as in pics 9, (white "webbing") not sure what it called, but take a look. This seem to be behind a lot of the double wool folders on the jacket, and between HBT and green wool also on both side. Hard to explain, but hope you understand. I think as reinforcement where button is, and maybe light padding.. i dont know. No one see this before? Also se double thread grey/black on eagle zigzag, original applied? This i am told is former Wade k´s panzer collection. Best, norge

Jepp, and i try to explain.. not zigzag on the outer side, just inside to connect buttonhole lining/ reinforcement part.
