SS Tunic Opinions Needed!!!

I have became friends with this gentleman who has owned this for some while. He wanted me to take a look and see what I thought about it? I have nothing like this to compare to. So guys I need your help with this one!!. I have over 40 images but they are in bmp format and I cant get them sized to post them. I ask him to retake them so I could. These are the only jpg's i have at the moment. Please advise me as to the jacket and/or insignia is real. Its not mine to have at it!!

M44 tunics would not have the shoulder straps with the LAH embroidered directly into the straps... these are very early and the jacket is late. That is on an historical note... could be, but doubtful. As to the authenticity of this jacket and insignia, I concur with the other opinions expressed here.
