    KZ Guard Shoulder Boards

    I have a quick question.

What would a set of EM other rank shoulder boards for a concentration camp guard go for? I have these and might want to use in a trade.

The boards are in excellent shape, no damage or mothing, some of the button hole thread on one of the boards is a little lose, but not really noticible. The Waffenfarbe is the typical light brownish color.

I know that these are real, but I am just curious of the rough value as I have never seen a set for sale.

    Thanks
    Paul Reck

I do not have a digital camera here. Plus all of my militaria is home. I am deployed now to the Middle East.

Based on what I have stated in my last entry what do you think?

      Thank you for your response!!

        Paul,
They are not a common set of straps but like wise people who collect KL items are just as scarce, I would not like to put a value on them without seeing picture of them,
        cheers,
        Gary

PS what did you pay for them?

I will see what I can do.

I really do not collect KL items...or SS to be exact. My main focus is on firearms and KM. I am starting to get into WW2 German medical stuff as well. I have just aquired my first Medical NCO tunic from this very forum.

Do you collect those items? Are they as costly as I think? I know that SS is very expensive. I can only imagine KL items.

I paid about 150.00 for them. How rare are they? I am not going to be selling them until I get home anyway. I am just looking for a ballpark price estimate for a confirmed original set that would have been seen on an M41 style tunic, slide ons..

Since these items are faked at a phenomenal rate and there are no pictures price is what you paid.If they wre confirmed originals it might be different.
