On the original 63 in a circle I've seen (I believe it was Bob Hritz who posted it) the RZM is opposite the SS which is inside a double circle ... I'd be interested to hear other's opinions on this.

I have a 63 Button with one circle and a other one with 2! 100% good.
But both in silver finish. The SS Runes are also into a circle

I almost never see the gray paint on these earlier versions of the button. Is the paint factory applied, or field applied in your opinion?
