Hi David,

great work! This is the route to go and I am really looking froward meeting you soon and discuss how we will tackle the EK1 and Spange for the upcoming research for the EK1 book.

It will blow some of the fakes of the Iron Cross right out of the water - just like it did with the Rounder RK when it was started by Tom Hansen.

You did and will do a great service for the collecting community!

I agree 100% with you, Dietrich.

As others have said, if through multiple tests the end results are consistent enough to determine beyond doubt what is "good" vs. what is "bad" then the only people who have anything to lose by this are those selling or dealing in fakes.

I'm looking forward to seeing results on other items as well.
