Looks like someone held paper templates on the front of the cap and sprayed some brownish solution on it.

Stay away from the bay and seek items on this site from decent guys.Also check the UK dealers( yes they are pretty expensive),but if you check Regimentals or The Old Brigade you will see great stuff and i have dealt with both Malcolm Fisher and Stewart Wilson and they are both gentlemen.Remember if you deal with these ebay guys what chance do you have to get your money back,slim to none!!
