White Summer SS Officer Tunic Question.

I am wondering if the SS white summer wear tunic for officer utilized the silver braid wire sewn around the collar? The very few period photos i have found i am not certain if it is there or not, given the black and white image the silver color could easily dissapear into the white of the tunic. If it was utilized, was it for general rank and up only? I have also seen period photos of not only Allgemeine-SS wearing the tunic, i have also seen Waffen-SS wearing it.

Some officers did choose to use the silver piping on the collars of their white tunics, but it was not the norm. v. Ribbentrop's white tunic is such an example...
