Can anyone help me determine with certainty what unit this poster is advertising for. I'm not familiar with it. He's wearing an SA Sports badge, an NSKK type sidecap (though it looks somewhat SS-VTish), and a strange armband. I think it may have something to do with a flieger unit, but I am not sure.

It was the Voluntary SS under Henlein in the annexed Czechoslovakian area = Sudetenland. That's a relatively obscure organization, I would think.

Thank you, Erich. I am amazed you found that so quickly! It looked somewhat "SSish" to me, but the mix of insignia and no black tie, threw me for a loop. It's a poster that was offered to me at an extremely high price, and before I jumped in, I needed to know what the unit was. The poster is by Anton, and I have never seen it before.

Yes, he is. He was a very competent graphic artist, and I especially like his Hamburg shipping and cruise posters. To my knowledge, he only made two posters for the party, this one, and the famous one with the yellow background. Have you seen this FS poster before? Also, does anybody have other material from this organization? Hats, uniforms, insignia?
