The final item from me for this day
Here are the photos of most strange SS tunic I have ever seen. It was picked up from film studio (has a studio stamp, name of actor and movie title "That first day") about 6 years ago and went to local militaria dealer. It had been traveling from dealers to collectors and was offered me eventually. Has a lot of bugs but still interesting for me if original one. All insignia on tunic are fakes (collar patch, shoulder straps, EK ribbon), all buttons are post-war applied. Unknown idiot put a stamp "SS-BW" to increase a value of tunic. It looks very hard worn, has an evidence of cuff title (well vivsible on photo) and cuff eagle. Lining seems to be re-worked a bit. Stitching around button holes survived only on pockets. So ... What is this ? What pattern ? Could this be original ?
Thanks for any help,
Pimpf
