      The un-natural wear around the embroidery would be of great concern to me.

        I agree with Ian on this... there are other inconsistencies too, such as the make up of the aluminum threads and other ideosyncracies that I don't like. My gut feeling, as well as comparing to a known original, is to leave it alone.
