SS Cufftitles - Fake?

I am sure I already know the answer, but since I am not a collector of SS insignia, I thought I would post them to be sure. A WWII veteran who used to live near me and now lives in Florida, sent me these cufftitles and said that he got them from a widow of another WWII veteran, who reportedly brought these cufftitles back from the war. I have a feeling he actually bought them from WWII Limited in the 1960s or 1970s. Any details would be appreciated.

Yes, you know the answer. All made by Ken Lane in the late 1960s through the 1970s.

They are collector's items in their own right as some of the earlier copies.

I buy them for $15.00 to $20.00 each, at the shows, for a research project I am working on. I have the old Ken Lane catalogue and match up the old copies with catalogue itmes. Some day I will finsh my SS cloth book.


Of course, the newer fakes ruun from $18.00 to $35.oo each, so that may be a guide.
