In my opinion from myexperience of them, these are low grade copies.
Missing the quality of originals.Do not waste your time with them.

I remember that debate many moons ago over on German Daggers SS Forum when Mr Hritz was the Moderator and 'Woody' a major contributor , I remember it was kind of resolved by the production of a grainy old B&W photograph with a set of these visible at the bottom ?

The fact that Germania International is peddling this particular set would be a cause for great concern to me.

Despite the story, these are totally lacking in detail and crispness of originals.
        Poor quality copies/fakes.
This site is well known for its questionable items IMO
        Dont buy ANY of them.

GI sells stories! Unfortuneate their stories are usually better than their pieces!
Always buy the piece, and if you don't like it ,don't buy it..

The link topic was on the Honor ring forum at GDC ..
The cufflinks in question were shown to Bill in person at a SOS show and he IDed them as being exactly as the Ribbontrop pair are. He would not say the were original because he would need to compare and did not know where the Ribbontrop pair ended up.

Shortly after Bill broke up the group the Ribbontrop links were sold at an auction and were featured on the auction catalogs cover. They look exactly as these do.. Problem is,,what can be used as a standard to authenticate? Only having the Ribbontrop pair would solve the problem,,and where they are, , , , , , , , ,
