    Nordland ss eagle

A guy I trade with got a pretty nice grouping in and he had this for $150. I took photos and thought I'd ask you all your opinions of it.

Forgive, not there has made a footnote.

This is a Danish 'Schalburg Korps' cap wing ... nothing to do with 'Nordland' except they shared using the sunwheel swastika emblem... sadly it's probably a reproduction.

Thanks -- it looked really clean but I am suspicious of all this rare cloth. Thanks for the clarification.

I agree, it is a reproduction that got many of us, to include myself.

Agree this one is bad the original is much more "tight" in the weave

              cheers

                Greetings All,

This is an old thread but does anybody have an original to post on here so we can see the difference? Thanks.

                    Danish Cap Badge

A definite reproduction. I happened to be stuck with one years
ago before I learned the difference from a Danish friend. I'd
                    take $10 for my copy!

I personally definatly see a difference in the weave from an original and a reproduction. very interesting information!
