Interesting pale SS Htb Dillich Jacket Panzer?

Its way off from the SS flak hbt jacket which many SS panzer men adopted for sure (and you see by far more SS Panzer crews wearing it than SS flak crews ) but to me it looks more like a greenish Luft hbt jacket, work jacket, in the fliegerbluse cut, with some pockets added? Hard to say exactly what it is, but SS issue I would doubt. Far from knowing everything or even close, but I'm always a skpetic with "unusual" purported SS field made items of clothing, and then again, this dosn't look field made if one takes the stamping at face value, then it would be an issued piece made by a contracted firm. Its anyone's guess.

hello,
never seen one like that before, but i would say (just my guess) upper part of a LW 2 pieces hbt working/mechanical suit.
i'm not convinced the tunic was shortened, it could be its original design, including breast pockets.
camo cloth addition is a complete clue for me, as shadow of previous sleeve eagle.
interesting item anyway.

Hallo!
For sure your jacket is cutted by a Lw hbt working suit. It carried all its typical feature: the colour of the hbt, the vent holes under the sleeve, buttons, marking etc... It was only shortened and added the two frontal patch pockets. The question, as stated is the same: when it was made?
No doubt, 100% manipolated Lw working jacket.
Cheers!

The same thread on the jacket should trick you. White thread is a white thread everytime, and easily aged! There's no doubt (and the others members can confirm to you) that is a lw hbt. When the modification was made is impossible to say. Maybe in WWII, baybe after... who knows?
I don't know too in wich point of the time was build up, but think about: is easy put some clue on a common jacket to transform it in some else of interesting...
Only a thought...
Cheers!
