      As Francesco and Dough have said, the SS2 Germania tab is a clear fake. The cuff title looks nice though.

      I remeber having seen this tunic a year or two ago. Is it from a dealer in one of the baltic countries?

        Additionally I have reservations about the shoulder straps - material of the waffenfarben, etc. I would say this is an original Army tunic that has been 'dressed up' a little with partially original SS insignia. If you have an early piece like this with the SS2 collar tab, I would expect the "G" ciphers on the straps as well. The collar tabs with the 1-2-3 were done away with in May 1940 and the shoulder board/strap ciphers D-G-DF-N-W were ordered discontinued in August 1943 (LAH is the exception). Would also expect a Germania cuffband in Gothic with this collar tab. Just my opinion as I can see from the pictures.
