    Random eating with SS-Silverware question

I don't know where to post this. Any suggestions, feel free.

Now, this question is very random.

Is it safe to eat with SS-silverware? Can I make tea with it? If I use, will it damage the value/quality of the silverware?

don't think you'll get any disease ... If they are made with solid silver then they shouldn't be treated differently than other silverware... I guess you should be careful in cleaning it before and afterward with appropriate products... and most important dry them...
Is the Reichsfuhrer coming to dinner?

Where is Dr Strangelove when you need him? He can answer this as I'm sure he has lavish dinner parties with all SS silverware and dinnerware and appropriate wall decorations.

Ive been using a KM officers fork to eat lunch with for the last 10 years, no problems Allways fun to mix it in with the standard cutlery at family dinners with relatives ect and see if who uses it notices the markings on it! regards, John.

              Safe?

I immediately thought of my good Friend Dr. Szell. "Is it safe?", why of course it's safe, of course your level of safety depends on who your inviting to Dinner. If it's Oskar Dirlewanger you might not want to show him your "Civil Awards". I think Dr. Szell would have no problem with your using SS Silverware, he would be right at Home.

                    Silverware

Not saying that this is the case here, but most SS silverware is fake anyway, so it probably doesn't matter. Besides, the guy's HUNGRY!! Stop ruining his meal. Remember Full Metal Jacket where the guy's reading the headline in the Stars and Stripes, "Marines Don't Like To Be Disturbed While Eating Chow"?
                    I say, "DIG IN, TROOPER!!"
