    SS LAH-Panzer crewman photo

    Hello gang,

Just wanted to share one of my favorite $$ items.

You can clearly see his cloth slide-on LAH cyphers.

It's no chained Himmer dagger or honor-ring but,

What makes it special to me is that it's in its original frame, I can just picture it sitting on the nightstand or dresser of a loved one many years ago.

I wish I could trace it, but his uniform is too "generic" and there is no info on the back but the studio that took or developed the photo.

Really nice photo you got there. The original frame is something special!

Maybe 2 years ago or so, a friend of mine sent me a scan of a photo of a LSSAH panzermann he had. The photo dident have any info on it, but as I have contact with a LSSAH veteran, who had served in SS-Pz.Rgt 1 "LSSAH", I sent him a copy of the photo. He dident recognize the man, but he took the freedom to ask some of his old friends from the same regiment, and it turned out; The man on the photo used to be the gunner in one of his friends panzer.

                          Hello,

That's the one, I noticed it sat for awhile and then went down in price so I snatched it up.

                              Cufftitle

I do not like that "Wiking" Cufftitle. Ah I see you mentioned it was the Bookmark variety. Wish you had his original !
