hello i have two eagles for the schirmmutze.
would like to here your opions.

The first one looks original eagle, though the finish is likely not original and someone has gummed up the reverse with adhesive.

The second one is a second or third generation fake. There was never an original eagle with this marking. The first fakes to use it were nicely detailed die-struck aluminum with crimped pins. This poorly detailed POS is a cast copy (or a copy of a copy) of one of those older fakes, which incorporated the remnants of the broken pins from the older fake it used as a model into the casting, so that they are now part of the eagle itself. Very poor.
