I cannot comment on insignia itself but the cuff title is placed on a wrong spot. And the way the sleeve eagle sewn-on is not impressive either.

I have to say the tunic itself is not doimg much for me. Can we see the inside lining? A 6 button in the old style on an SS officer is not too common.

                Mr. NTZ!
I understand, everything in your possession is original and expensive, all other stuff is "FAKE".
I don't like to go on like this. I am collecting since 40 years, my uncle was commander of
a SS-Panzerdivision, my groomsman a SS-Hauptscharführer and Knight Cross Holder, believe me, I know, how an uniform have to look like and I also know, a lot of them were against all regulations during wartime. The Obersturmführer insignias were never removed since the blouse was made. (You will get the picture of the interior and taylor/name tag). You say. a 6 button blouse old style is nearly impossible, I would like to recommend you to look into the book "Uniforms of the SS by Andrew Mollo, Vol 6, side 25, the man at right (Hubert Meyer)" is wearing a blouse like this. Further I have app. 12000 photos from WW II, they are proving my opinion
                Sincerely yours
                Heinz

I personally have no problem with a six button ss tunic. The cufftitle placement is a bit odd, but I think I have seen at least one period picture where the title was worn above the cuff. I am not an expert on cufftitles, so I will not comment on that one. I would like to see a shot of the eagle, where one can see the tips of the feathers before making a call on it. Overall, I don't think we have enough pics here to say either way on this tunic.

Are there traces of previous application on edges of the sleave eagle?

The eagle is at best poorly re-applied, the cufftitle probably the same, I'd like to see clear shots of the tabs and straps, because being completely honest I find this tunic almost as implausible as you being Harmel's Nephew and think it (and your story) is a put-together.

                          Cheers, Ian.

Dear Ian, believe me, you will never own it, this is not a kind of discussion I like.
