    Six-Dotters?

It's Wintersonnenwende again, so how about showing off your six-dot Julleuchters.

    Only the six-dotters, please!

Just trying to figure out how many of these things are around.

    Not too many, I suspect.

Strange, but photos in SS publications always seem to have six-dotters......................

      Another example. Six-dotter again.

All original six-dotters came from the same mould, so ALL of the dots across the whole julleuchter are in identical places, NOT just the six dots on the front.

        Hello Robin,

        thanks for showing!

Six-dotters are the earliest ones from Julfest 1935 (only for SS-Führer!) and have the best hand-made look apart from influences of mass production in the later years - although they did not come all out of just one mould but it does not really matter - 10.000 were made of these.

          Robin,

I meant to have that calendar page translated but never got to it. Some of the photo's are probably pre-39. Mine is a 6 dot but I have a bad habit of discarding photo's after I shoot them. You can just make them out and when lined up with the photo references they are identical patterns.

          Happy Holidays

I hang my head in shame because my Juleuchter does not have the 6 dots.

                Box

The infamous "Herb Chest". Don't ever open one.

Robin I have heard that the 6 dots were produced at a different Camp than the later non-six dot variety. I have no idea if that is true or not and I love my Juelleuchter, but like Bob mine lacks the 6 dots. I have tried to get over my shame by using a marker to make the dots, but I know they are not really there.

                  Thanks Thorsten.

                  I didn't know that.

Mine came from the estate of SS-Staf. Johannes Muhlenkamp.

Posted my Jul Card shot already this year, but here it is again. This was owned by a SS-Hstfhr. Eugen Englmaier of the Volksdeutsche Mittelstelle.
