I prefer the early years 36 style skulls the best. Id say wait for a 36, even if its worn, as most all 36's have lots of wear if worn in front line fighting , and from the rigors of constant wearing. But the wear will always be more on the outside before the inside, so stay away from ones with messed with enscriptions unless you are an experienced expert on tk rings. Id say save your money till you get the right one for your tastes, and if from a dealer make sure they are reputable, and get a guarantee for life in writing, otherwise, get one from a vet or their kids with provenance.
