Good SS Sidecap Insignia?

Both insignia are in the peral-grey thread, eagle is machine sewn and the skull is whipstitched by hand. Looks like the eagle was handstitched down in a few places as well.

I like the wear and the style of the insignia, but would like opinions as to insignia originality before it slips into my collection. Thanks in advance.
