    I have never seen one in person, but one was posted on this forum some time ago and branded a fake. Here is the thread:

      Thanks for the info....very interesting. I had the distinct impression that the skull I held in my hand at the Kassel show was a real one. It was not as damaged and distorted as the previously discussed skull, but it was a little rough and both pins were missing with visiable attempts to glue them back. I have a strong feeling that the skull in the link is also real contrary to the opinions of others. I may still be able to obtain the skull, perhaps I should. It was rather expensive however.

          I didn't offer an opinion in the other thread, but I tend to agree with you. I see much to be liked about that skull. I wish I could get one in my hands for a close inspection.

              I have handled the skull mentioned in the other thread and feel it is a good one...the skull is curved...I do not know if this is because it was on an overseas cap or why, but that is why the dimensions appear wrong in the pictures, but the size is correct.
