Top of the cap seems too small. Sweatband doesn't seem to sit right and looks a bit narrow. Insignia looks good. Not much more I can add without detailed photos but my gut says rebuild.

Well, the sweatband has definitely been re-applied and what's with the marks around the bottom edge? Not a cap worth considering IMO.

I agree with Ben--a Franky, and an amateur one at that. Sweatdiamond isn't even centered on the lining....

Is the Overhoff skull one of the new fakes from a year or so ago ? Note the lower right jawline stopping before it meets the cheekbone ?

I could not say with 100% certainty, but I am fairly confident that the TK is an original Overhoff. If it is a fake, it is different than the one I believe you are referring to.

The eagle also looks like an original Overhoff, which is a darn rare bird!

With what SS insignia goes for nowadays, it might be worth the asking price.....
