Well it does look like a Bevo cuff title. Give the guy a little slack, its his first post and he gave his opinion honestly [and bravely] considering five collectors, with thousands of posts, had already condemned it. It would have been easier to join the chorus.

        Failed Link

        "Charles,

Your link above yields: The page cannot be found.

        Bob"

        Bob,
I went to the search function and keyed in Gotz von Berlichingen cuff title. Then I selected the second thread listed "Gotz von Berlichingen cuff bands". Go to my post on this thread and click on the reference I gave and it will open.

I'm not sure why it won't open as listed here but it does using the just described method.

        Sincerely,

        Charles Betz

          SS GvB cufftitle

Hello there, This is exactly was identical to this fake GvB cufftitle that was offered by a local dealer a year ago. I turned to a well-known advanced collector/dealer who specializes in collecting SS-related militaria for his opinion by emailing the picture of that cufftitle. Few hours later,he declared that cufftitle a fake. Another experienced collector emailed to me that this GvB cufftitle was made in 1980s. Few days later I told the local dealer that the item he offered me was fake. This info on this forum saved me from spending a bundle on that SS cufftitle which was turned to be fake. I now am very cautious when going to buy any SS-related item.

Looks the type replika types Weitze had for sale about 10 years ago for 50 marks each... They exist in most of the "big" divisions.,,,

Actually, for those with a good eye, you can see that the ribbon material is not right. It's a FAKE - end of story. BUT, if anybody wants to buy it and spend $1,500+ for it, be my guest.

                        My Cufftitle

Ok I had this title looked at and appraised back in the 90s BUT still some say it's a fake from time to time. What's you opinion?

Never mind having trouble loading photos
