Cross strap may be SS?

Hi Gentlemen,
May I have your opinion on this black cross strap. There is no SS markings, only a RZM number.Do you think it could be Allgemeine SS cross strap?

Sure, why not! However, true SS cross straps are marked on the leather and the on all the metal fittings as well.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with using it on an SS display. You know darn well that there were times they used whatever they had.
