I thought that 87 fuss Standarte was an edelweiss . Could you please tell me if this tab is original or not ?

Notton,
I think there is some confusion surrounding the edelweiss tab. According to the documents I have, the edelweiss was for the 37th regiment. I wonder if there was a simple typographic error somewhere along the line in post war reference books, ( a 3 becoming an 8), and it has been repeated? Your tab certainly supports the edelweiss being for regiment 37.

Superb! I think these allgemeine SS uniforms are the most beautiful ones of the "dritten Reich" . Bob, Do you have ,pents and boots which goes with the tunic?
Anyway,IMO the most beautiful collections are on the American continent ...
