vet aquired ss patches, mountain division and others opinions

A buddy of mine at work brought these in for me to look at, they were aquired from his wife's grandfather... who is deceased. Was wondering what some of these patches are and if they are real. I'm thinking they are because he also had a luftwaffe buckle, RAD belt and buckle, a nazi pennant for an automobile, a luger which is already sold. And those items were the real deal. These patches which are sewn onto a strip of cloth. No tags or identification aon the back sides. I can identify the death head, ss, mountain division, latvian volunteer, but not sure about the others. Just posting it all in this section for now becuase they are all together.
    thanks

The "SS" Runic patch looks authentic, the mountain edelweiss insignia is actually Heer, but they were worn sometimes by the SS, the Totenkopf collar tab looks authentic, but the nostril area looks funny. It's all probably good stuff.
It's fun to see what the veterans do with the stuff they find.

Most of the SS collar tabs appear to be unissued from the Dachau Depot. There is still a lot of that stuff around. Nice haul for sure.

Red & White Shield is Croation SS volunteer sleeve shield. Crossed
rifles w/grenade is for 36th SS Division "Dirlewanger".

That is the collar tab of the 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS "Handschar". Worn in place of the SS runes.

I appreciate the fact that they want to keep the family's memories. I'd behave the same if I was them... but as far as being a "greedy collector" I have to try whenever I got the opportunity...
