I am hoping a few of our learned members can give me their opinions on these boots. I got them from a guy I work with. He said his great uncle was an AAC pilot & was KIA. His possessions were sent home & over the years everything was sold off except these boots. The story he heard over the years is that they were taken from a captured SS officer. I will post several pics...your thoughts are appreciated.

Based on the photos I would buy them without hesitation as period German Officer boots. There were many slight variations and I do not recall examining a pair made exactly like these, but these have convincing characteristics.Comment
