    Reproduction TK Rings

I have made a deal with Greg and Chris McClurkan to handle their Honor Ring's as an exclusive. I received mine a year and a half ago and it gets a lot of attention and many comments.

Normally, I shun reproductions but these are manufactured in a manner that will not deceive and they are being sold as a walking around ring. There will be no Himmler engraving or the naming of any SS officer. You can have your name or it can simply say copy. The mold used was hand cut and was not taken directly from a ring and there is no seam. The quality is very high and I consider them to be very nice items.

I have listed them this morning on my site, turnaround time will not be long initially and will assess time based on demand. But several days at this time and they will be made to order. I have looked at the market and from what I see, these are really nice.

This is just a note to let the SS guy's know and I will be placing an ad for them in the Bazaar section. If the moderators feel this is the wrong spot feel free to remove, but if someone wants to discuss them they can do so here.

I agree they could never be confused with real TK rings. No problem there. But $199 for a copy that looks nothing like the real ones? I bought a copy cast off an original that could never be taken for a real one but was in silver and it cost me $40.00. $199 dollars for $2 of silver? Good luck!

Thanks for the kind words, Billy Bob! I must admit that they are widely considered to be the most accurate reproduction TK rings available in the world today, by many, many collectors that have bought them from us before.

      All the best, Chris

I can say that in my opinion these rings from Chris (and now Vid) are without doubt the very best wearing copies on the market today.

          No question.

As a party involved in their sale I can say that these rings were not just tossed up as a matter of convenience or for that matter to get rich.

As a collector I wanted a ring that would satisfy my own concerns and the concerns of others who collect rings, that it would not be an easy effort to utilize the ring or alter the ring to deceive a buyer. This was the first issue.

As a seller I wanted a ring that would wear well and fit the site in a manner of quality conducive of the other product on the site and represent a value. I think it does. And this was not done in a day. I made inquiries to noted individuals who know these rings and asked "What are the best in the market?" The answers were pretty much the same and the ring in question was always mentioned as a top dog.

I even scheduled the the release for after the MAX so I could show the ring to friends there before they went up and they all said the same thing. Its a really nice ring.

The third and final issue was to have a manufacturer that was reliable, honest, and dependable. I essentially needed people with character behind the product. I spoke to both Greg and Chris McClurkan and they are the people I wanted to fill that position and I am very confident in their abilities.

I like the ring and I think it will be well received.

              Kind Regards,

              Kris Lindblom

                Totenkopfring Reproduction

I had previously posted photos of a wax ring that my brother and I had been working on. It is modeled after the original "Koehl" ring that appears on a post from yesterday on this forum. By "modeled", I don't mean it was cast from it, but the wax was carved by hand and engraved with the same inside inscription. This project was never completed because my metal caster went out of business. I finally located a new guy, and the model will be sent out within the week. If this sounds familiar, it's because about a year ago, I did just that, and the guy wouldn't cast something with the infamous "swastiker" on it. Back to square one. Hopefully, this time will be the charm. If he'll cast it, we're on our way. Once I find out (in about a week), I'll post pics of the succession of rings we made that got us to this point. I was hesitant to post this because I don't want anyone to have false hopes. We're doing the best we can to complete this seemingly "endless" project. I will keep everyone posted. P.S. After much consideration, we HAVE decided to stamp the inside of our rings with a tiny manufacturing mark to differentiate them from originals. We had not originally planned to do that. We sincerely apologize for these long delays, and hope we can accomodate interested parties.

I am in no way criticizing this ring quality (already criticized one year ago), just asking now, is it possible to straighten up skull's teeth (see below) and make them perfectly horizontal as they suppose to be? I will buy it then for myself

I'd buy one of these too if the maker would fix the skull:

The teeth on the originals varied a lot. Here is my original for comparison:

                            Ring

James M - Are you saying the ring with the crooked teeth is fake? Bnz.42 - If the ring is original, it shouldn't be tampered with. I believe the teeth were tooled in by hand after the ring was cast. Sometimes wear also distorts the teeth. My ring has the same "smiley-face" skull as the one just posted by James M.
