                        wish I would have walked way from an "abortion" like this when I first got into major collecting. mine was on an M43 service tunic that was a total repro. I was told this type of eagle (oval) was a late war pattern. although I check as many places as I could and found none my lack of experience and wanting a tunic cost me. I sold it off but lost MAJOR money on it. yes, I lived and learned a very valuable lesson. that was to join this forum. take heed from these Men. Glenn

                          I hear you brother. I got burned on an SS tunic early on and because of that, I gave up ever collecting anything SS.
