    LAH - Spoon and Fork

    Fellow collectors,

I consider myself a hardcore LAH collector, but I have absolutely no clue
whatsoever about the LAH silverware out there.

Are these o.k. or absolute trash? Can anyone help?

    Many thanks in advance!

don't be embarrassed to ask, the forums are about wisdom for its own sake -- and for helping guys protect their hard-earned money!

there are many engravers in the old east europe who can engrave any silver piece you want - for a price. there's lots of 20th C silver and silver plate all over the place. and local units in the war I'm sure did have items engraved.

the scary thing is with the most talented engravers who've really studied up on all the old techniques.... like ss cloth "presentations" are a real minefield!
