IMO the bullion runic tab appears acceptable, the button looks ok, the board
scares the hell out of me, and the bevo tab set is totally bogus.

Hi Merdock,

The BeVo tab is a copy. The Germania strap is IMO a copy, poor construction and sloppy embroidery not at all characteristic of pre war boards, The Bullion tab looks ok but I am not an expert on Officer quality insignia.

Hope your friend is not too disappointed.

Veteran ? What of ? The Tufty Club ! I've bought things myself that came 'from the veteran' and which ended up being a mix and match of battlefield pick-ups and things he saw on a 2nd hand market..sadly all the heer things were OK and all the SS was bad.Many UK vets fought through N.Africa and on into Italy never coming across Waffen SS troops untill they guarded the P.O.W. cages in Italy after the cessation of hostilities.

Sorry if i may have misled slightly,they did not come from the same person and were obtained over a number of years.i do agree to your opinions the bevo i thought were pherhaps copies ,the shoulder board,the officers runes and the button i think are ok.i know the board is very rare with little to compare to[pherhaps it could be compared to a slip or something]
