Over $9,000 is "cheap" for just a jacket? I wish I was at least a movie-star, man, so that could say it for myself. Anyway, why don't you buy it for so "cheap" then?

Offcourse 6500eu is alot of cash.

But this jacket is really a rare bird, and only the cufftitle is worth a lesser fortune. Shoulder straps like this is not cheap either.

Stripp the jacket and sell it in parts and you will get the money back. More or less. And here you get a supremely rare SS jacket with full insignias to one of the best late war divisions.
      For the same price.

I really would love to own it, but right now im paying for a named SS em visor from a Finnish SS soldier.

With Frndsburg and regualr hohenstaufen cufftitles going for 2500-3000, this rare varient cufftitle is worth at least 3500 in my opinion. So with the other insignia and just a strpped down M43 bringing 3500-4000 I think the price is quite reasonable.

I do not see nothing on these pictures that let me think is a post war made tunic. Maybe you see something I don't

it's a restored tunic... for sure. Weitze isn't stupid to put it at 6500.

I would consider this one a put together tunic.
2500€ for this rare variant cuffband.
                        2500€ for a SS M43 stripped tunic
500€ for a BeVo collar tab set
                        500/700€ for that board set
                        and the sleeve eagle.

                        Here whe have the price!!

                        IMO,Francesco

Does anyone here really believe a Hohenstaufen tunic survived the war in that condition from an NCO ?

As far as price goes you pay what you want...thats why I no longer buy this junk because its over priced and who in thier right mind would pay so much for a strip of cloth..only a handfull of fanatical collectors.

Of course I think as you, but the cufftitle is very nice !

Isn't it possible the tunic has never been used ? After all it's an M43 and a late war one considering the wool used. I've GD tunics that are in top condition and yet there is no other division that was so decimated than the GD.

About the prices ... I agree with them if it's a put up post war, but when it's an original one with the everything originally sewn on, than one shouldn't count like that (seperate pieces).
Anyway it's an intresting discussion here
