Sergey has posted a nice looking SS buckle on the e-stand. It has a leather tab attached. I thought I had read in an old thread that SS buckles never came with a leather tab. Does anyone know anything about this?

If you look carefully there is no stitching on the leather tab. My personal view is that the tab does not belong to the buckle. Try posting on the belt buckles forum for an accurate and expert opinion(Iam more cloth oriented)

It is my belief also that no ss belt buckle came issued with a leather tab, but it has been noted that individuals have added the leather tab, and as mark has mentioned JP on the belt buckle forum will have more information on this as this is his specialist field,
