    Fritz ,
I was pointing out there was 2 different printings of the pattern .
Or 2 different dye lots , I know the smock has sleeve seams which usually points to this being cut from a zelt but it looks like at least 2 different zelts have been used .
As you know most smocks have different pieces used in the construction , this kinda conforms to the use of all "scraps'.
I was also wondering if the cuffs had the selvedge sewn down on the winter side ?
I am neither for or against this jacket but at least the material is correct.

Yes, now I see! Well, it clearly looks as if two zelts or one zelt with each half (left and right) printed in different colors was used.

That item to me is a fake/repro, it's not fieldmade IMO.

      Cheers

Apart from that you are 100% right of course.

Thanks for the info Fritz! I did not know that. The construction of the smock says it all. Zelt bahns are cheap and smocks expensive.

                        Hi
the reason I asked for the winter side shots is you usually see a selvedge exposed on the lower cuff .
Your jacket has a seam , I would have liked to see the selvedge .
However I have also seen this sewn down usually with only one turn thus exposing the selvedge .
                        all the best
