    Metal SS Insignia..Opinions please

    I've seen these ss cap insignia and have no idea if they are real or not.

    The photos arent the best, and i will try to get closer ones.

    But can anyone give a good guess as to whether these are fake or not?

            Agreed, the 'ageing' appears to be the same, the thin pins look like those on the cheap fake skulls abound in the UK mid-70's.

                            The skull seems to lack the detail found on originals. Example shown..

                              The skull also appears to be cast, instead of stamped, and the silver wash extends onto the prongs. Not what I like to see. Still possible it's original, as many variations of these early skulls exist, but I'd still vote NO on this one.
