    Pictures? Pre-RZM Allg Visors

Just wondered if anyone had pictures of their pre-RZM or private purchase Allg Visors. I haven't come into contact with too many.

You mean pre 1929? Even the coffee cans had RZM tags.

Yes pre-1929 and private purchase Allg visors. I had one offered to me once and I wondered what other examples looked like in comparison

I expect you aren't going to find many examples of pre-1929 Alg. SS visors since they didn't come out until 1932.

sorry to go off topic slightly, but what jacket does Kramer wear in this photos? Is this a German tunic stripped of insignia?

Also what happened to most of the tunics that these guys were executed in? I presume buried/cremated with the bodies?

Does any of kramers belongings still exist in collections? There are some interesting photos of kramer in the SS photo album they discovered last year.

My moniker is a shortened version of my own name. Sorry to kill the buzz.

                      Pre-RZM SS Cap

Go to the Collector's Guild website. In the SS Headgear section, the first visor cap on the left is most likely the earliest peaked visor cap you'll ever see. (I HAVE seen some very early photos with SS men wearing a round cap with no visor, and a very large, curved-winged eagle, but I don't know what that is. )It's not a visor cap. Anywho, the cap at Collector's Guild is the earliest cap I've ever seen. It has a crusher-type bill. It is the coolest Allgemeine SS visor cap I've ever seen. Mine's a very early RZM one, about 1934 era, and very salty.
