        Looks like a standard M43 with pleats added to the pockets after issue.It would be interesting to know if the jacket is a Heer or SS cut.

        Tabs could have been moved back when the wearer was promoted and added the collar tresse.

                Vets

                I know several SS Vets. These Guys are tough. I told one of them he could not be killed and his response was, "yeah, but I could Die".

                        Lots of great photos in the series for those into uniforms and headgear. As a historian, I gain from militaria related books, just as the reverse is true for history related volumes. Lots of documents also, handy for signature ID among other data, which I study related to SS.
