Thoughts on this Latvian grouping...???
I assume rebadged tunic...with Heer straps (wrong color + wrong rank...)

sleeve detail...insignia obviously does not match the wear of the tunic...
so its restored...but are the parts any good?

and with this salty M43 cap. Is that a Tartu pattern (Estonian made) skull?

Hi Nick,

I can't comment on the rest of the insignia but the Latvian shield looks ok from first glance, though the tunic does look "reworked" . Here's a similar one from my collection for reference (post 5):

I have my doubts about this grouping. I am prety sure I've seen the tunic before. While I like the latvia shield with LATVIJA title being ebroidered, I don't like such shields with the name being printed (as in this case). IMHO they are reproduction.
