    SS Stick Pin

Hey guys, I wanted to post this stick pin for opinions and comments. It looks pretty good and (to me) matches against other "real" ones I've seen in photographs.

    Thoughts?

    reverse..

I'm hopeful someone has a list that can identify the assigned owner to the number.

High end of the numbering sequence as used by Hoffsttatter but 100%
original and nice one too with its "keeper".Difficult to find now.

          PS
Almost impossible to trace the owner unfortunately regardless of whatever
so called experts may say or rationalise.
Some numbers are recorded on the owners records but many were not.
Just enjoy owning a real one.

Thanks guys! I had heard that some of the numbers could be traced to an owner. Either way great news!

True.Very very few HAVE been traced to the owner. They come off the owners records by sheer coincidence.I have three actually identified but all from
preknown owners and Gahr pins in silver with very early numbers.
Later pins by the regular contracted maker Hoffsttatter, are sheer luck.
Just enjoy it.Who knows,it may just happen.

There's a good chance you may be able to find out who the original owner was

                          Hi Jareth,
With such a high number,it may not even have been sold! reaching the end.

                          Whats the condition like?

Condition is excellent. This was included with a vet. grouping with other stick pins, a Russian front & war merit medal in envelops picked up at wars end.
